Celebrating the remarkable moments of our recent Graduation Ceremony, where an air of accomplishment and nostalgia enveloped the venue! From the dignified arrival of the Chief Guest to the ceremonial march and the poignant Lighting of the Graduation Lamp, each element was meticulously orchestrated, symbolizing a significant milestone in our students’ academic journey.
The event commenced with a solemn invocation by Hemangini Vinkle Chawla, setting a reverential tone for the proceedings. Amidst the resonant melodies of our School Song, Dr. Madhav Deo Saraswat, Principal & Director, delivered a heartfelt Welcome Address. This was followed by an emotive Farewell Address from Yashvi Maheshbhai Gajera, gracefully punctuated by M. Kevin Vijay’s articulate response.
Guided by Shiv Manish Punjabi, the graduating class solemnly recited the Graduation Oath, affirming their commitment to uphold the values instilled during their educational tenure. The ceremony culminated with the presentation of Graduation Certificates and Special Awards by Prof. Venkataramanan, evoking a profound sense of pride among recipients and attendees alike.
As Prof. Venkataramanan, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Flame University, shared his insightful reflections as Chief Guest, the audience was captivated by his wisdom and vision for the future. Mr. Suresh, Coordinator – HSS & IBDP, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the collaborative efforts that defined the event.
A poignant video presentation served as a poignant testament to the shared journey and enduring memories, concluding with the stirring strains of the Graduation Batch Song Hymn. As we bid adieu to our graduates, we carry with us the lasting imprint of their achievements and the promise of their bright futures.
Amidst the vibrant hues of cultural diversity, GSIS’s Primary Years Programme (PYP) students celebrated International Mother Language Day on February 21, 2024, with a fervent tribute to India’s linguistic heritage. Embracing the essence of unity in diversity, the young learners adorned themselves in attire symbolizing the rich tapestry of linguistic communities across the nation. Through captivating performances infused with traditional music, spirited dances, and captivating dramas, they fervently showcased the essence of each language, fostering a deep appreciation for the cultural wealth embedded within India’s linguistic mosaic.
The festivities served as a poignant reminder of the importance of preserving and honoring one’s mother tongue, embodying the spirit of inclusivity and mutual respect. The 10th graders at GSIS recently indulged in an evening of camaraderie and festivity at a vibrant Hi-Tea gathering. Amidst the cheerful ambiance, students immersed themselves in various activities, from showcasing their dance prowess to experimenting with musical instruments.
